“What is it like to be in love?”

“Free. It feels free, like there’s nothing that can stop me, nothing can hold me down.
It feels as if I can do anything because of love and I’m free of the fear of failure because,
even if I can’t do everything, at least at the end of the day,
there’s still me and him. When all else fails, love won’t.”

[00m5] Only the first letter counts.

Not to be disrespectful... but some people are really stupid. Not in that inane, idiotic way whereby they're lacking some intelligence. More so in that way where they're so ignorant and so lacking common sense that you wonder how many times they were dropped on their head as children.

Either they're in sad need of rational thought... or they're just so bored with their lives they have to see drama and controversy everywhere. I don't know what it is, but the smallest mistake will push these people into some kind of tantrum or rant.

Truly, is anyone perfect? Isn't it said 'to err is human'? So in what reality are these people living in where a person cannot make a mistake? What gives them the right to judge a person so harshly, so mercilessly that they're forced to take cover in the shadows, sometimes even giving up on their hopes and dreams?

It's hard enough to live life the best you can. However, to live life day by day, where in these people - people you don't even know, who don't even know you - have taken it upon themselves to be your judge, is enough to make a person break. You work hard to earn your chance, your opportunity to reach your goals, only to have people scrutinize every minute detail of your life.

Zealous to the point of frightening, these people don't see rationality in simple situations. Rather, they take pride in snaking out details which are inconsequential. They take these details and inflate them with their own hot air, making them seem important, making these details bigger than they actually are.

Even mistakes done in the past are dug up. Rather than leaving them behind where they belong, these people are so bored with their own lives that they have to interfere with others' lives, searching and probing into a time where things were simpler, a time where mistakes were encouraged to promote growing and learning. However, instead of seeing those mistakes such as milestones, landmarks where a person changes and becomes better than what they are, these people use the past to damn them. It doesn't matter that they've learned their lesson or that they've changed for the better. All that matters is that a mistake happened in the past and these people have taken it upon themselves to collect retribution where it's already been taken.

Now, the thing that bothers me the most is what's going on in their heads. They're so caught up in damning a person that they fail to realize that they themselves are not perfect beings. They're so caught up in another person's life, in another person's business, that they're letting their own life pass them by. Are they so bored and unsatisfied with their own life that they have to live vicariously through the drama they create by ruining other peoples' lives? Or perhaps it just makes them feel better to point out the flaws and idiosyncrasies of other people. Whatever the reason for being the way they are and doing what they do, in the end, to me, all of their lives are all the same:

Sad and hypocritical.

You just described the way I feel perfectly. Down to the last word. I feel like that, but couldn't put it into words, and you were able to do it.

The amount of ignorance in some people really scares me.
