theme: o93. Bubble baths.
pair: Heechul/Heechul; with mention of Heechul/Hankyung
It had been an exhausting day. Not consisting of a particularly hard schedule, just… tiring. Variety shows here and there, having to be witty for the camera, having to look good all the time. Well, the latter of those came naturally to Heechul, but being beautiful had its burdens. So, after a strenuous day like he just had, he wanted nothing more than to go back to the dorm he shared with Kibum, Hankyung and Typhoon of TRAX; and just relax.
However, apparently that wasn’t going to happen that evening. Kibum was on the computer playing games with the speakers on high, Hankyung was making more noise than needed while cooking dinner for the four of them, and loud music could be heard pounding through the door of Typhoon’s room. Wishing to get away from all of the noise his dorm mates were creating, Heechul padded into the bathroom, promptly closing the door shut with a swift kick and immersing himself in a luxurious bubble bath.
After affixing a towel on his head in the lamb-style preferred in the saunas, he leaned back against the tub letting out a deep sigh. Leaning his head back so it tilted up, he closed his eyes as he put earplugs on, silencing what noise was able to penetrate the wooden door.
He had truly outdone himself this time, there couldn’t be a better bubble bath anywhere in the world, surely. He sat there surrounded by mountains of bubbles, relishing in the calming environment created by lavender-scented bubbles, scattered rose petals in his water and aroma-therapy candles placed strategically around the room. Hair tucked into the lamb-styled towel, Heechul held a wineglass filed with sparkling champagne in one hand, the other hand twirling his mirror absent-mindedly for the occasional glance at his radiant reflection.
Life couldn’t get better than that moment… but it could get worse.
The door swung open with a loud bang. Heechul whipped his head in the direction of the scoundrel - the one who willingly disrupted his peace. Before he could express any of his feelings orally, a loud splash was heard. Relieving himself of the ear plugs, he was devastated to find his cat, Heebum, clutching to the side of the tub, trying to escape the water after jumping in.
“Sorry! Sorry!” Hankyung apologized as he promptly walked over and picked up Heebum, wrapping him in a towel, “He accidentally ate one of the peppers I was cutting up and went crazy.” Then, as if realizing for the first time the situation Heechul was in, Hankyung made a quick pivot, turning his back on his hyung. “Ah - sorry!” He apologized again, his face visibly reddening with his revelation.
“You knew I was in here and still came in. Do you like me Hankyung?” Heechul asked in his way, leaning over the edge of the tub, tilting his head to get a better look at Hankyung’s face.
“What? No- you’re weird,” Hankyung stammered before heading towards the door,
“Hankyung ah~!” Heechul called in a sing-song voice.
Hankyung paused in the doorway, his body visibly tense, “Yes, hyung?”
“Saranghae!” Heechul continued in the same voice,
“Ah - really weird!” Hankyung exclaimed defensively as the flush continued to creep over his face. He promptly dropped Heebum and ran out of the bathroom, closing the door behind him.
Heechul smirked as the door closed with a secured thud. “Ah, he’s so in love with me,” he sighed as he shook his head, “Eh? Heebum ah~!” He stretched out his hands to his beloved cat.
Minutes later, Heechul found himself able to relax once more. Hair tucked into the lamb-styled towel, with a wineglass filed with sparkling champagne in one hand while the other hand twirled his mirror absent-mindedly. Yes, truly this was relaxation at its best. And there, as Heechul mused to himself, appeared between the mounds of lavender-fragrant bubbles was non-other than Heebum. Lounging on a miniature blow-up floater, the cat stretched out luxuriously, a small pink shower cap situated on its small head. Heechul smiled affectionately at the pet, giving it a small pat on its covered head.
Indeed, life couldn’t get better.
